Françoise Nielly’s wicked portraits

I've had Françoise Nielly 's work on my fb cover photo for a while now, and was asked quite a bit about the artist so here we go. Nielly is a french artist who's known for her usage of aggressive palette knife strokes and fluorescent oil paint colors. Her massive close up portraits feels extremely expressive, and for me, the figures always seem tough but a little sad and vulnerable. Personally, I'm more fond of the portraits of figures that look like real people, and not models. Anyway, no need for more words, they're extremely attractive to watch, and I'm seriously tempted to try to make one of my own... those strokes seem very therapeutic!

A place for the male version of me.
