The house of the Dashwood women today?!

I'm in love with the English country side ever since I saw Pride and Prejudice (the tv version by BBC/1995) and Sense and Sensibility for the first time and over again and again and again.... I'm a sap for those romantic times. I'm thinking this Floral modern-country house in Castlemaine might be the home for the Dashwood women today.

Flowers are an easy and quick way to get my attention and these ‘Ornamental Garden’ panels by designers guild definitely did!

Fyy- The 1960s lamp besides the rococo sofa was made by inmates of the former Castlemaine Prison. (cool fact to know)

Right after flowers, the 60's Danish furniture draw my immediate attention.

Notice the candelabra by local artist Simon DeMasson.

A view in the Children's bedroom of Timorous Beasties ‘Iguana’ wallpaper. I love the Crown cushion by Plain & Simple .

The front garden - no words needed.

Whites and grays - Danish style.

Tea time!
